Creatures

These wonderful creatures grew out of some rather unloved dolls. The basic human form is a great building block; it is an image we are drawn to. The creatures are spirits of nature in human form; they look extremely alive, and as so they could get up and walk away. I was thinking of calling these creatures "Story Dolls" because as they emerged, they looked as though they were characters from a tale. For example, the first two images show The boy who had heard about the white hart in the forest. He sat and he waited so still for so long that the forest grew up and over him.
